In addition to changes made to the typical idea of saves and loads, there are also plans in the works to make the typical death/reload scenario irrelevant altogether by integrating that into the gameplay, in short rather than breaking the players immersion with a load screen and menu, the death of the character will be resolved through story and gameplay, but in such a manner as that is plausible and conceivable and integrated into the story so as not to break the immersion of the player through far-fetched or arbitrary dues ex style manipulations.
