Enter a post-apocalyptic wasteland where there’s no evil corporation to blame, or secret government conspiracy. Anyone capable of finding a cure died off long ago… When all you have left is time, it’s important to keep yourself… occupied… Dead Shift is a survival-horror game where anything can become a weapon. Drive abandoned vehicles through crowds of zombies, explore vacant stores and homes, and do what you need to survive.
Despite "real life" getting in the way, I have somehow managed to make steady progress on the game.... However, much of my time has been spent converting our apartment into a mini motion capture studio (without blowing our life savings)...
Today was the first day we recorded "usable" data from our OptiTrack cameras, so I felt a video was in order!... The animations shown at the end (not the walking/running) are raw data from 6 OptiTrack cameras, recorded at 100fps... Skunkie herself did the "acting".
Enjoy!

Epic ! :D! Good Work.
Thank you. :)
Hell yeah, the game isn't dead! Thanks you guys!
Glad to see this game is 'un-dead ' :P
Very cool!
This looks amazing, keep the combat both a challenge and fun, and we may have ourselves the best Xbox indie game of the year... also with the mo-caps if those were test zombie movies, try to make the zombies seem a bit more rabid. If you are going to take inspiration I say study the zombies in Undead Nightmare a perfect mix of the slow walkers and the runners. They start off lazy and unmotivated when they first see you, but the closer you are the more rabid they become!!
