Defending Ultramar was inspired by "Gates of Ultramar" by Klospülung/Rayden for the original Dawn of War. However, it's scaled down significantly and changed slightly to accommodate DOW2's different gameplay.
MAP NAME/VERSION: (6p) Defending Ultramar

First off, make sure you have this notepad opened up enough (specifically, WIDE enough) so that
the text is displayed properly (this is to make sure there are no mistakes for installation).
Differences between this map and the Original
-------------------------------------------------
*Smaller due to smaller unit limit of Dawn of War 2
*Lacks hole in the wall. I was trying to have as few chokepoints as possible so you have to fight battles as opposed to players avoiding
each other and just going for the resource points.
*More snow!
*City is more industrialized and less in ruins
*Players start with turrets due to lack of base-building
DESCRIPTION
-------------------------------------------------
Gates of Ultramar is a 6-player map made by an Australian mapper named Klospülung/Rayden
(https://www.gamefront.com/games/dawn-of-war/file/gates-of-ultramar) or (http://warhammer-maps.ei8ht.net/)
for the original Dawn of War (2004) made before the release of Winter Assault in 2005. My brother, father, and I
thoroughly enjoyed his Gates of Ultramar map (and his other levels) and in looking for good maps to get for Dawn of War II,
I decided to make my own version of his map for this game.
I started making this map in January 21, 2019 but didn't learn how to make it into a .sgb file until July 1, 2020.
INSTALLATION
-------------------------------------------------
The name of the map is 6pdu.sga and this needs to go to your mods folder in GameAssets. EXAMPLE:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dawn of War II - Retribution\GameAssets\Mods
