I've followed Knuckle Cracker's games since the first one. This has got to be the best one yet. Much faster than the previous games, and there are huge maps! I can't wait for Colonial Space to go live, who knows what people will do with all the crazy scripting and such!
The first Creeper World has been my go-to addiction for a couple of years now. CW3 expands on the gameplay from Creeper World without ruining any of the things that made Creeper World what it is.
There's something very pure and compelling about containing and destroying an enemy that's a flowing fluid that destroys what it touches.
If you've never played the Creeper World games, you owe it to yourself to at least try the CW3 demo.
Tons of fun and endless maps to play. Head right for the goal or build your infrastructure to wipe the creeper out. Many different units so battle your own way. Optional custom built in CPRL allows for making your own units or changing just about any aspect you might dream of.
This game is EXTREMELY addicting. The aesthetic is a bit abstract compared to other RTS games, but, there is method to the madness. You really have to plan your conduits carefully or you are toast.
The game is insane as far as content. The main campaign is long, you can design your own worlds, unlock different game modes, and it has a world generator that guarantees virtually limitless replayablity.
Don't expect an easy victory in this game. While you don't have to be a bred to the bone grognard to play this game, you do need to understand what structures and weapons work best and where - and when.
The tutorial, i.e, the first five missions guide the new player splendidly. This game is simply wonderful and in fact would be spoiled with tarted up graphics. Snag this if you crave a frantic challenge!
The third installment of the creeperworld sage brings back familiar action, but on a much more epic scale. If you are of the type that endlessly played massive rts maps on a game like total annihilation, CW3 will bring you many more challenging sometimes on the brink of impossible maps to conquer either in a turtle and advance or brawl and bet everything style.
Moddability and a large community that will most likely once again produce once again _thousends_ of maps, will leave the cost/play hour ration of this game laughable good. Your best buy for the long winter evenings.
