Dude thanks the mod works, but i find out a little Glitch when the 4 soljers get out of the tank we lose the controll of tank is there is any way to fix this?
Im sorry to tell you that there is no fix for that.
The mission tells what vehicle the player can embark.
(And the mission is encrypted, except for location of infantry, tanks, buildings etc)
And this only happens in Mission9.dll and Mission7.dll (dunno about 7, I forgot)
The game does tell the player he can embark guns, so maybe I could take away some HMG's ingame, and replace them with tanks.
But that would kill the mission allot.
For now, leave always on player in, when you want to embark simply call your teammates! They will embark the tank again :D
And that's what i did i made a story ( in my mind ) that the mate inside the tank is preparing the engine so we go out quickly :D thank you bro again :)
No problem man. I still have those (stories/fantasies) when playing some games! Keep on story telling :)

is it possible for you to add the T-54/55??
As far as I remember, there is no T-54/55 in this game.
The only thing I did is hex edited the mission files in a way that you spawn inside existing tanks!

so can you update the mod? with more vehicles like the mobile AA
The mobile AA is a vehicle that can't be driven. It's meant to be stationary. You are able to shoot them with the AA gun, but still without driving its useless.
I was going to plan to let the user drive more vehicles, but it ended up in a big mod that was arround 500 MB

I don't made it public as I found the mod too unstable.
On most missions you can drive a tank for just one street as most missions force you to go trough small hallways.
The last 2 missions have again some small gaps which doesn't allow vehicles trough.
Is it possible modify multiplayer maps ?
I believe it is yes. I did take a look of some of the mp maps, but there was no one to play with :( so I didn't really try something.
If you want, we can add eachother on skype and modify the mp maps and test them out :D
Hey whitesnoop awesome mod but I want to ask you can you/ are you able to mod Iraqi/allied soldiers-officers/? e.g. I would love to play as the 2 green uniformed Iraqi officers in the 1st level of DS 1 plus donning the uniform of gen Aziz including his blue suited personal bodyguards would be pretty cool.i.e. going behind Iraqi soldiers and exploring the place without being shot at etc.
Also can you drive other vehicles such as scuds launchers , trucks, helicopters, planes such as the Mig 29 in the 1st game airbase mission and the tornado or F-117 Night Hawk?
I know in the airbase level there is a Mig 29 outside on runway preparing to take off, and if you go in the base using the blue hell method the Mig 29 doesn't take off and the air base wont get dark unless you come by the scripted route of the game.
Also are you able to Mod the tomahawk cruise missile on the Baghdad level of desert storm 1 so we can use it on targets we like etc. that missile is very detailed & powerful, I had a closer look at it also using the blue hell method.
How about the actual scud missile could you rectify them?
and finally can you modify the bunker busting bomb on the bridge level of desert storm 1 where the tornado destroys the bridge so we can use that from the plane or similar to the tomahawk missile/?

#1 - I think I've already tried body swapping, but I remember resulting in errors or either not working.
#1-1 - You can be invisible by activating the dev options. This way they won't find you :)
#2 - There are not much drive-able vehicles in this game. I tried helicopters and airplanes, but pretty not controllable (even tried Conflict vietnam, you are somehow the driver of the helicopter, but you just can't controll it.)
#3 - I am not sure if I can modd the tomahawk missile. As I can only change some stuff that is readable. There is allot of code that is simply impossible/hard to read.
#4 - What do you mean by rectifying the scud missiles?
I don't want to let people down, but pretty much this mod is the only thing I can do with this game.

what is the blue hell method?
The Blue Hell method is running around under the map by glitching through walls or using hacks. I don't know about running around off-map on the same ground level but off-map is what I do.

And can You changes other soldiers uniform? Iraq or Russian uniform? It wil be nice.

I've tried this before, but to no avail. I could not get it working by changing some things.
I could try it again and see what happens (as I am getting better at hex editing)

First of all, I wont post malware, what would be the point?
Second of all, Moddb checks downloads for malware/viruses etc before you can even download (it takes like a 8 hours to a day or so before the mod is online)

What errors do you get? Ingame errors? or winzip errors? Try winrar or 7zip, as its better than winzip (I hope you don't use it, get rid of it if you do)
For ingame errors... I simply don't know. What you can try is to download it again, as I hear some people downloading from moddb get corrupted files (might be browser specific too. In that case, use Firefox or Google Chrome)
How do you install the mod?
You simple paste the contents inside the root folder of the game.
Mine is found in C:\Program Files (x86)\SCI\Conflict\Desert Storm
So you cut and paste the download file from the 'downloads' folder into the main game folder with all the missions files in?
No you open the file, and paste everything thats in it (the missions ;)
You open the download file? (I'm not very good at this sort of stuff but the mod looks fun ;)
You'll have to use winrar to open the downloaded file.
When opened, you can select all files and drag them into the Conflict Desert Storm folder. If you need more help, send me a PM (as I've accepted you)
