Advanced Population Mod file - Company of Heroes

how do i install this mod?

Just copy\paste everything in ur coh folder,then create a new shortcut for coh then rename it(if u want)
the right klick and go to properties and add -dev -modname Advanced_Population behind the target line
the use the shortcut and voila ur mod is installed

"You can arrange buildings" ? What does that mean? I assumed it meant I could rotate base buildings like I can with bunkers, but that doesn't work.

Why does give me this error when i type -dev -modname Advanced_Population behind the target line ?

"The name '-dev' specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the patch and file name are correct."

Change your target line in the shortcut on your desktop to this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -modname Advanced_Population

If you're 32 bit, Remove the (x86) from Program Files.

my population does not change!what should i do?my soldier squads are 13 now but my population is 75 like before :(

Hi, I have steam and im not sure where i'm meant to put this new target line. On steam you can make a desktop shortcut so I've done that. When I right click i'm not sure where I put the line. Please help me! This mod looks really good but I can't play it :(

I'm still uncertain on how to install this. I unrared and copied everything in Advanced_Population1-0-0.rar to C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\

Then changed the target line as follows :
"C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -modname Advanced_Population

But I'm not seeing this mod working. Am I missing something obvious ?

didnt work with steam version sadly. And i tried in campaign. "only place i use cheats anyway"

and i cut and pasted as i went when needed... didnt work.

I experienced a bug sir, an AI bug or whatever, they just wont move in skirmish, but the campaign is fine. any advice?

I cant seem to get this mod downloaded but my CoH file location is different, it is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes - i kinda need help for this different type bcoz all you ppl seem ot have it in a THQ folder and mine isnt in there.

I installed the mod, played it for a while but there's a bug, i can't train rangers squad, well i can but after i pushed their button they just won't spawn

ok so i just downloaded the mod and i had no problem with it im guessing that the error that you guys made was this,

*the Problem* - instead of just right clicking the shortcut then properties and .......adding the string "<space> -modname Advanced_Population" you guys instead .......removed the ENTIRE STRING IN THE target line THEN added in -modname
.......Advanced_Population WHICH WAS NOT CORRECT and in order to fix this problem .......go back to wherever you put your COH directory and THEN look for the COH .......application file, Right click > CREATE shortcut then go back to your .......desktop and if the shortcut appears in the COH directory move it to your .......desktop

*NOW TO MAKE THE MOD WORK* - right click the NEW i say again NEW shortcut that .......you just placed in your desktop, click "PROPERTIES" then a window will pop .......up, now look at the target line THEN DO NOT i repeat DO NOT remove any .......text that are in there only add "<space> -modname Advanced_Population" .......after the " symbol that you will see at the end of the target string

note: this will method will also work for every other mod. just make sure to replace the name "Advanced_Population" with whatever is the name of the mod you downloaded for COH

sorry but there is a mod that makes me add all the more resources the population for COH ?? I have version 1.0.0.1 of the game please reply me, I do not find the solution anywhere you are my last hope !!!!
