Hi All,
So what happened since the last update?
CitiesCorp has got 2 imporant features that make the gameplay "smoother" and significantly faster for those ones who do not like to go too much into micro-management:
- BuildingRandomizer: With a simple click the game creates a building proposition for you,
- GardeningLiner: You decide where to line up hedges or fences - the rest is done by the game.
I think I have 2 or 3 more functions left that require implementation after the polishing process and having that a gameplay video will follow which will show in more detail what these functions are in the position to do.
During the today's testing session the game did not break (yay), it ran stable at 60fps (dev console mode!!!), no threading problems in the backyard, so everything was perfectly fine.
I did not use fences and pavements today, as you can see in the screenshots, that's why the property entrances look so empty - I hope this is OK with you - I focused on testing :-)
Have a great evening and week.
Sebastian
Awesome! Loving all about this game! Testing is really important! Keep it up Sebastian
Hi, thanks a lot for your kind comment.
You tested also SugarMill recently - congrats to the 100 bug free years - keep on the work. I know how hard it can be and I'm already very curious :-).
Indeed testing is a lot of work. Starting this week I will start leaving the PC overnight running the game to see how far goes without bugs! Cheers with your game is coming alone nicely.
Great, I really hope it works out for you. I'm looking forward to read your next update.
