Prototype of a mission, has unit and covers, reinforcement script incomplete
This map was first made two years ago as what I imagined an UAF mission would look like, before UAF was formally introduced. It's now updated with newer units, but I doubt if I can complete it instead of moving on to making newer maps. I have to admit, this map is huge and heavy on resources.
You have to fight through an urban area heavily defended by militiamen to break into a military base occupied by more hardened rebels. Your troops can and will be expended very fast if you don't pay attention to where enemies are holed up. There is also a brutal amount of landmines, some souped up for bigger explosions. Supplies in the city are plenty, but sometimes you have to choose carefully whether to take them.
What I have done:
- Enemy placement
- Starting unit placement
- 3 reinforcement types, more have been placed and tagged but not scripted
- Very basic point income
What I wanted to implement but have not been able to do:
- Enemy patrol and popup zones
- Capture points for different advanced reinforcement types - police station for LAV, gas station for tank, both for American Rangers and UAF regulars
- End goal of preventing helicopters from being destroyed
