Hi,

As I mentioned in a previous comment, Boundless immediately reminds me another game, which is called "Deus". It's an old old game (released in 1996), where you play a marine which has to stop several terrorists.

The core of the gameplay is to survive to the environment. You have to suture wounds, replace broken members, inject anti-venom and even amputate a limb if there's no other solution. You have also to hunt animals for their furs and for food, and harvest various plants for the food.

You can find more information about this game here (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/590/Deus.html) and if your game will be similar, you can count me in as a fan :)

Thanks for the suggestion. Going to check it out, even thou I'm always afraid when I look at similar games, as that tends to limit you thinking to see how they have solved it, instead of thinking freely. But then, I'm the programmer, and not doing the big stuff design ;)

We found a site where we could buy the game, and... IT'S FRECKING awesome! I think some of us will hardcore that game a bit!
Thanks a lot for the inspiration! =D

Yeah this game is really cool, I still remember it even 15 years after. However, it's really hard, and gameplay are a bit tricky (thinking about managing to shot an arrow to a moving target). Also, back in the days, they were no internet and no one to explain you that you must use that type of material to protect against cold water, and so on.

But still, it's a great game. I can't wait to see Boundless if you cover some of the survival aspects of Deus. :)
