How do you imagine your level of complexity for the game?

To make my question more understandable, will the interaction between species be limited to "who eats who?" or will it be more complex?
(An example of complex interaction: species A eats species B. Species C stay with A because C cleans its teeth. So C is protected from other species.)

A really complex ecosystem takes lots of time, but in the end it is probably worth it.

We definately want an eco-system that's as complex, dynamic and realistic as possible. It would be awesome if you could see big changes in the environment if you overhunt or eat all plants of a certain kind. However, we won't start working on the eco-system for a few months, so we haven't had any design discussions about it yet.

well if you do manage to put something as complex as that in the game I for one would love to see what effects that would have on the local creatures and land scape.
