After a decline in installs halfway through this year, installations for BotSumo are on the rise again. I’m actually not sure why, but it looks like it’s heading towards a 2nd peak.
Perhaps like last year it will peak around christmas time, which makes sense as it’s the time the majority of the western world has time off, and BotSumo is the perfect game to play with family members.
So I’ve started working on a Christmas version. In all honesty I haven’t done that much, just added a Santa hat for each bot (well, only the bots where a hat will fit). Here’s a video:
Right now, I’ve only updated BotSumo: BattleArena, the paid version (it’s only £0.80), to reward the people who’ve paid money first. You can get that here:
And then in a week (or maybe 2, closer to Christmas), I’ll update the free version, which is the one currently installed on 4,000+ devices right now.
