Blopica Tiny Adventures is a RPG platformer intended to be played cooperatively. The idea is to play shorter adventures that are made through the level editor that comes with the game. This will hopefully make each story different and interesting. The game itself contains RPG elements such as a class system, skill points, stat points and loot.
The loot system is similar to the Diablo series. Every time a player kills an enemy you have a chance of getting random loot based on your character level. The loot has a range of 5 different rarities from normal to epic. Each item has a set of stats and a unique look that changes the appearance of the character.
Start out as either an Apprentice (ranged) or a Fighter (melee). As you progress you will get to evolve your class into other classes. For instance Apprentice can become a Mage or a Ranger. A Ranger can then become a Tinker or a Hunter each with their own passive and active skills.
The game is a platformer in which you complete quests and kill monsters to gain experience. The game is pretty fast paced and lets you explore in a Metroidvania type of way. The game is best played cooperatively online but single player is available.
I now have a brand new quest system added to Blopica. You can now accept and track quests that give various rewards. Right now there is only one quest though.
There is also various other fixes and features:
- Added respawn points for monsters
- Music now added to the game.
- Fixed titlescreen
- Adjusted melee class
- Lots of bugfixes....
I should be done with most of the larger implementation tasks now and be ready to add lots of content to the game which should be a lot of fun. I'll try to keep the updates coming more frequently from now on!
Revamp on HUD, graphics and look of game. Basic effects has been added to some skills as well. First tier of the melee Class is done.
Shows what has been done since the last release. Mostly a lot of small fixes and improvements to the game but also more game content.
The basis for the skill system is done in this release. The first skill class "Apprentice" is finished as well as the first passive and active skills...
