In these pictures, the surface looks more sand-like.

Sorry if these criticisms seem too harsh (it's probably too late to change any of this stuff), but these landscapes don't look very much like Venus—the rest of your work has so far set a high standard (the Moon, for example, is quite excellent) that would make this look out of place.
