This has utterly revitalized a classic game that I'd all but given up on. Now it feels fresh again, and that alone justifies a 9. Once I've got thoroughly stuck into it I might decide it's a full blown 10!

Battlestations: Pacific perfectly blends strategy and action packed game play throughout the campaigns, which also includes a Japanese campaign giving the player a unique perspective on the war through the eyes of the IJN.
