Which are the files what you need?
Common_Client/flare/MESHES need Meshes
Common_Client/textures/sunflare need Texture
and I need the same for Common_Server.

The errors are caused because developers did expansions and patches with bad quality. EA games/Dice.
to a better understanding put the battlefield 2 to run in windowed mode to see the cause of the error.
Also I recommend upgrading to version 1.5!

And about version 1.5, I tried long time ago but the Lan with friends didn't worked. I modded a lot this 1.4 and I scare to loose all if I install the 1.5
I installed BF2_Total_War_Realism, Aix2ex_mm but doesn't work, I guess it's because I need the 1.5
And one last quesion, I installed many times BF2 Editor and it's the same, crash.

I have faced this problem, you need to disable all anti-virus for no errors occur in the installation.
But in window mode so just follow these steps!
1) click with right mouse button on the icon of bf2 in the area of work.
2) go to Properties / shortcut.
3) go in destination and add this line. +fullscreen 0 at the end of such line.
Example!
"C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 0

Ok I tried , message error is :
memory.dll, sanity check: block size 20971524 (20.00 MB) doesn't seem sane
this error of sanity is caused by some sound file corrupted.
decompress the battlefield 2 folder to find the error. because in extraction the corrupted file is indicated.
Previously I added this line to the bf2 shortcut :
"E:\Program Files\BATTLEFIELD 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1.15 +fullscreen 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050
Because I play on 42" screen and I wanted widescreen, but the game crash even before I did that
I understand why it didn't work, because the shortcut of your battlefield is: E: \ Program Files \ Battlefield 2 \ BF2.exe and you put my shortcut. try again this line.

I think you right about Sound, now I remember something wrong when I install BF3 Hud and BF3/4 new voices ( and some sound with silencer gun doesn't work )
I don't find out how to decompress folder BF2
Use any extraction program, WinRAR preferably!
To extract only you go on your folder mod personal and extract the folder segintes!
Example: Common_Client, Common_Server, Objects_Client & Objects_Server!
and then compress it in .zip format with the original names.
Maybe if I replace sounds by original bf2 sounds, what do you think ? But I don't have the original Common_client/sound
continue using the sounds of their modification.

I run the game in CMD then i got this error message :
mods/fb2/shaders/staticmesh.fx not found!!!_DO_check your working directory,_AND_sync your shaders folders before calling upon your local rendering programme/GP.(really!)
but i checked and I have staticmesh.fx.
And something wrong also with Memory.dll

May I ask a question, it's about sounds.
I had to reinstall bf2 1.41 cause patch 1.5 doesnt work.
I lost my Us voices, now there's only 1 voice by call ( Need a medic, need ammo, go go go! etc.. )
I tried to reinstall BF4_RuUs_Voice_Update_v.2, BF4US_MORE_VOICES, BF2_Voice_Pack_ENGLISH_BF4, BF4US_VOICES_FINAL but I don't have a lot of different voices like before.

yes I tried, I have patch 1.41 and 1.5
The 1.41 works but not the 1.5
So I install again the game for try the 1.5 but doesn't work.
And I still have the problem about Memory.dll insanity bla bla.
Maybe I have a problem/virus in my windows7.
I tried hundred things : activate my 2 cores, downloaded memory.dll file, change my Ram settings...then scan Spyhunter, CCleaner ...
I don't understand because my computer is strong enough I think for bf2

For shaders and memory trouble, I Hide desktop's Icons and it works for a while.
Some maps crash after loading, like Urban Raid or Atom SP
Try reinstalling again, more reinstall that, order!
1) First the Battlefield 2
2) After the expansion Special Forces.
3) Then Patch v 1.4.
4) After the booster pack Euro Force.
5) After the booster pack Armored Fury.
6) Re-install the patch v 1.4.
7) And then the patch v 1.5.
I recommend you turn off all your Anti-virus!
Tell me the result !?
