A Simple Asteroids Clone, made for a Game Tech Course in 2013

ABOUT

This game was made by me as a prototype for a C++ one we had to develop for a GameTech course.
It was made using:
- Game Maker Studio v. 1.2 (Code / GFX)
- SFXR Tool by DrPetter (Sound effects)
- SunVox (Music)
The C++ one got much simpler (there were not many requirement for that), but I kept enhancing the Game Maker version a little bit, adding a highscore table, different enemies, music and support for 3-player coop.
HOW TO PLAY
==================
It's a very simple game, the player ship(s) needs to destroy the asteroids and UFOs toprogress. Once the level is clear, the player(s) will reach the next levels.It was made very quickly (in about 30 hours or so), but it took a while to have time topolish it enough for a release.
CONTROLS
==================
'F4' - Toggle Fullscreen / Windowed
'1' - Window size x1
'2' - Window size x2
Player 1:
Throttle - UP ARROW
Turns - LEFT / RIGHT ARROWS
Fire - SPACE BAR
Player 2:Throttle - 'W'
Turns - 'A' and 'D'
Fire - LEFT CONTROL
Player 3:
Throttle - LEFT AND RIGHT MOUSE BUTTONS
Turns - LEFT / RIGHT MOUSE BUTTONS
Fire - MOUSE WHEEL
(mouse controls are surprisingly good IMO)
TO-DO / PLANNED FEATURES

I'd love to make the game more complex, with huge bosses and so. Let's see if it gets done sometime.
Also, a more competitive mechanic between players would be nice.

You can send it to whoever you want and stream-play the game.
You can't use any of its assets for any project of yours, though.
