I like the new ragdolls - true, the guy may seem a bit stiff in the back, but so far, so good!
I also like the implications of the real physics of the grenade throw - if it's an actual object being propelled by the throwing player's hand, it should respond realistically if, say, the thrower were shot down in mid-throw, probably flying less far/way off target.
But I gotta say, the guy throws like a girl - a girl who's really bad at throwing things, lol. ;D He needs to put his back into it and follow through! Kind of like this guy: Youtu.be. Yeah, I know it's a work in progress.

:) In the throwing animation the charachter only usses his upper body so we can blend with other animations like walking and running.
But yeah the animation could be improved
We should probably also make a 2nd animation for when the charachter is not running. that one should be a the full body animation.
