So I've been playing the game for a few days, and for the most part, I've really enjoyed it. It gets insanely hard later on, but I'm sure I'll get through it eventually. So for the bugs, the first one is in the Amazon level. I think it's 2 screens left from the big ape boss type thing, where the NPC is standing. I've tried it 3 times, and I can't head back to the left to finish the level. The second one is that i wanted to play the game with my kid, but his profile isn't signed up with Xbox Live. The game wouldn't allow him to join, so he had to create an actual Live account to play with me. This is the first and only game we've played together that requires him to do that. My wife and my brother both have profiles on my system, but don't have Live accounts, and they don't want to sign up, so this is a bit of a problem. Thanks for your time. |

Hi Sylath, 1. Ok I will take a look at the level exits on the Amazon level to see if there is an issue. 2. When you are on the overworld with your LIVE account, you can sign in a guest. On the list of usernames, at the bottom, you will see Guest. This will allow anyone who doesnt have a LIVE account to particpate anywhere you want! You can also do this from the pause screen. Thanks for the quick reply. I went back and tried it again, and whenever I select Guest, I get the message "Can't sign in to Xbox LIVE. Please use a profile that contains a valid membership." It then kicks me back to the main menu. Perhaps I'm having problems because I use a Silver membership? Edited by: Sylath |

Correct, Silver accounts cannot have guests but Gold accounts can. However you could create four free Silver accounts if you wanted to... |

Wait, so that's it? What if we don't want to make a bunch of silver accounts? No offense intended, but that's just plain silly. |

Hi Sylath, let me respond in more detail: When you purchase the game, the online options are set to public, which means you are on Xbox live. You cannot play on Xbox live on a Silver account, however you can play on Xbox Live with a Gold account with guests. If you want to play locally on just a Silver account, you need to set your online options to "Private" in the options menu, which will turn off the connection to Xbox Live. From there you can play with different Silver accounts or you may be able to bring a guest account on a Silver. This is just the way the system for Xbox live works. Edited by: DragonDivide |

Hey Sylath, You dont have to make a bunch of silver accounts, you can use local (non-LIVE) accounts for a private session. If you want to add non LIVE accounts to a game, first make sure your networking options are set to private. You do need ONE LIVE enabled account as Xbox Indie Games requires to be conected to live at all times. All the sign-in dialogs in Alpha Squad are looking for LIVE enabled profiles so next you need to manually sign-in the non-LIVE profile (using the guide) before you create the session e.g at te main menu screen. When you reach the "player sign-in screen" screen, just press a on the controller of the local player and it will be added to the session when you start it. Then everything should be the exact same as if it were a LIVE enabled profile. Hope this helps, |

Ok, I tried using the guide at the main menu to sign in a non-live profile, and that did the trick. So, maybe I'm the only one in the world with profiles that are not Live enabled, but the method of using them in the game is less than intuitive. Thanks for the tip, Evan. |
