So famous in Russia, its home country, this game was a phenomena due to its good sales of the license product, while all other foreign games were sold as pirate ones. Its fantastic gameplay was highly rated by Russian gamers, introducing them the alloy of genres called Role-Playing Strategy.

The concept of a small party of heroes, each comparable in power to a single taken mob was very unique for that time and made the player use his brain to devise complicated strategies to pass through this and that problems in every mission. The fairy-tale atmosphere with giant squirrels and other fauna definitely left a sign in our hearts.

So unluckily, the game was highly underrated on the other side of the border. Called Rage of Mages in foreign localisation, this game remained in underground for the rest of its life, being known only to a bunch of inspired individuals.
