NZ roundels œr USAF bars addon - Airfix Dogfighter

Granted, trying to get those semi-transparent fringe blue pixels

via a 2020s GIMP layer mode is in AND by itself a *SFPP already...

*SFPP is ...an acronym standing for "Step From Period Practice". It's used by heraldic societies to indicate an heraldic element that's accepted in coat-of-arms registrations, but still deviates from what was the Europeic heraldry of the middle ages.

This was inspired by the practice of Kiwi aviation members painting the time's RNZAF markings œr the USAF markings left on leased aircraft (including the Douglas "SBD" Dauntless).

There's instances in period photos that both show the yellow border either painted OVER the USAF roundels' side-bars, OR skipping said bars.

I might improve this description in some second occasion...

May also consider a 3rd variant WITHOUT the yellow border (who knows)...

👉INSTALLATION :

Easier done than sai-erm, written!

The stickers are in a .zip archive - easily extracted via programs such as WinRar or 7zip!

Just extract the contents to the game's directory!

(aka, where you installed the game, in my case :

C:/Program Files (x86)/Paradox Entertainment/Airfix Dogfighter )

One can either download/drag the archive in said directory, right click, then left-click "extract here", or alternatively leave the archive where-ever, right-click it, then left-click "Extract files..." and input the directory in the text-bar or navigate manually.

👉TO UNINSTALL :

It's just two stickers... but then again,

I totally understand why

you'd wish them gone... so, here goes:

From the game directory, either

navigate to or manually add in the top-bar :

[...]\User\Save\Stickers\Stickers

Locate the two .tga files with a name that begin with "NewZealand1",

then either move them elsewhere or delete them
