Bothered by that annoying, old TV-screen glare
in the house editor interface being in the way?
Excellent, 'cause I decided to get rid of it ;Þ

Greetings to anyone who rediscovered (or outright just discovered)
the old, 2000 shooter "Airfix Dogfighter"!
For the moment I'll be as brief as can :
this modi-pardon me, rather, these additional files make an ever-so-slight change in the house editor [the one for multi-player maps(which one may also play alone, by the way)]...
as you've probably already read, it gets rid of the old TV-screen reflection seen in the aforementioned editor.
Hol' up, lemme grab two existing screen-shots...
See this nonsense? Yep, it's no more...
Ta-Daaaaa~~~~

👉INSTALLATION :
Easier done than sai-erm, written!
The stuff is in a .zip archive - those are easily extractable via programs such as WinRar or 7zip!
Just extract the contents to the game's directory!
(in my case : C:/Program Files (x86)/Paradox Entertainment/Airfix Dogfighter )
One can either download/drag the archive in said directory, right click, then left-click "extract here", or alternatively leave the archive where-ever, right-click it, then left-click "Extract files..." and input the directory in the text-bar or navigate manually.
👉TO UNINSTALL :
Well, uhm... due to the way the game works, this part is a tad more complex.
There's multiple means to attain the result, these are :
- Deleting, moving or renaming the "Graphics" folder in the game directory (this however will render every graphic addition or replacement non-operative on that game installation)
- Deleting, moving or renaming sub-directories of the Graphics folder (similar to the above, although not as radical - this most likely will render un-operative other replacements within those sub-directories)
- Manually navigate to the files in question & deleting, moving, or renaming them.
Unless there actually are other add-ons that alter the house editor's interface, in this case it'd be safe to navigate to [...]/Airfix Dogfighter/Graphics/Frontend and then deleting, moving, or renaming the folder named "HouseEditor".
👉DVLCIS IN FVNDO, CREDITING :
Credit for the Airfix Dogfighter assets goes to the game's visual artists :
P. Andersson, K.M. Trœdsson, L.Krylov, G.Odgren.
