Croat 1941-'44 roundel (2 variants) addon - Airfix Dogfighter

Greetings,

if you're familiar with the game, then you'll definitely know of that awkward sticker editor, yes?

Well, a while ago (2021?) I casually found out the directory whence the game stores custom stickers!

I also found out the format they're saved in can be comfortably edited via a certain other image manipulator (& likely a few more).

And then, came an insight :

what if I loaded each base-game sticker,

THEN save it with a slightly altered name?

I thus figured out a way (albeit very rudimental) to make fan-made material looks closer to what the devs had given us at the dawn of the millennium! :D

I thus started fiddling with those gradients...

The two stickers here presented are two variants of the old Croat roundel from 41-44 (as you've read),

one variant was reconstructed using the base-game's "USAF_2" sticker, the other using the (still vanilla) Italian & Japanese1 stickers.

Because the latter sticker didn't cover all the area needed, I might've had to do some reconstruction work, but nothing really remotely visible.

👉INSTALLATION :

Easier done than sai-erm, written!

The two stickers is in a .zip archive - easily extracted via programs such as WinRar or 7zip!

Just extract the contents to the game's directory!

(aka, where you installed the game, in my case :

C:/Program Files (x86)/Paradox Entertainment/Airfix Dogfighter )

One can either download/drag the archive in said directory, right click, then left-click "extract here", or alternatively leave the archive where-ever, right-click it, then left-click "Extract files..." and input the directory in the text-bar or navigate manually.

👉TO UNINSTALL :

It's just two sticker, not sure why anyone would,

but just in case your computer's memory is about to explode :

From the game directory, either navigate to or manually add inside the top-bar :

[...]\User\Save\Stickers\Stickers

Locate the two .tga files with a name that begin with "Croat41-44",

then either move them elsewhere or delete them
