3079 is a futuristic, open-world action first-person role playing game. You arrive on a planet experiencing constant war. It is your duty to find out why the warring factions cannot find peace on their own & hopefully restore it yourself. All areas, buildings, items, quests and characters are randomly generated. You will find unique lands & challenges. I hope you enjoy it! "Just want to say again that this is a great game! For those of you who feel like its a minecraft copy just beacuse of the cube textures used you really need to rethink what a game is about! The game play of 3079 is nothing like minecraft it is pretty unique as well as how the weapons all have diffrent stats and colors kind of reminds me of Borderlands. However it is still an original idea for a game and i still play it from time to time. You should at least try the demo and if you like it please buy it and support fruit! :D Still give it a 9/10 ! My first impressions; the game is clearly an Indie one as it has the 'blocky' graphics of minecraft and doesn't even support a particularly high resolution. On the whole, it shows how far one's own imagination can go, and is an admirable piece of work.

GOOD: The world so far is incredibly large; there is plenty of space to explore and things to discover. This is one of those rare moments where the massive world really is opened up to you, while you're a lone character with minimal NPCs constantly nagging you. And to set this on a mysterious, although familiar-looking, planet is a perfect idea. Why so few games ever opted for this approach is a real mystery, as this is my favourite type of RPG genre: Not open-world, constant NPCs like Elder Scrolls, but more of a mysterious, desolate world like STALKER or Fallout 1. On the whole, congrats for this interesting take on first-person action gaming!

BAD: The sound is extremely minimalistic. I don't mind a lack of voice-acting (sometimes that could even spoil an experience), but no environmental sound at all makes everything feel shallow. I don't ask for top-notch music, but it would have been good to add some ambience and/or some worldly and environmental sound to add more atmosphere to the exploration. Also, the game was little hard and did not seem to prepare you for the abilities you have at your disposal, nor give you more tips on the task at hand.

In the event my review contains misinformation to the full game, I will admit that this is based on the demo. I've still yet to get further into this game and when I do, I may rewrite the whole thing if things turn out different. So far, this is a nice game that I am quite interested in, just a shy away from being the astounding masterpiece it could have been.
