I say, put him a MJ Thriller jacket and make them occasionally break-out the odd MJ dance move or body pop as some sort of weird nerve twitch! Could also do the i-heh high pitch note! Very bizarre, but could be fun! In fact, maybe if you have a radio playing music, they could get incapacitated as they get pre-occupied dancing!

Wouldn't really improve gameplay if trouble was taken to animate all that.

If you can render 20 chasing zombies running in fluid motion, you can do it dancing. The type of move (running, dancing, jumping, leaping) won't affect anything if it is animated at the same overall frame rate for the real-time rendering because you are not upping frame rate or model poly count to additionally tax either the processor or the GPU. So whatever 'cap' is placed on zombies in one scene, can be rendered as per my suggestion. in fact, a pre-planned dance sequence applied to models would temporarily cut-out the overhead of AI processing for the pathfinding algorithms of the zombies and actually lower the processing overhead ensuring it is possible!

I think he was on about gameplay, there'd be no point animating all that as we are already a really small dev team :D
