I've wanted to do this for a while an an opportunity within my team came up I decided to take advantage of, we are doing a remake, a few small modern updates to the game but nothing that takes away from the original game and what made it so much fun all those years ago. This is one of my all time favourite games and I would love to see a modern remake, that wont happen so going to do one ourselves.

Anyways I have coding and QA covered, so leaves me needing an artist to assist our Art Dept with a few small assets we're going to build as much as we can with Unity's assets packs and I have already built the first level, we will be looking for the collectibles and weapon models which we plan to keep fairly simple. This is intended to be a fairly short project for the teams personal portfolios but also a proof of concept we can use for the studio itself.

We already have GDD in place, we use Skype for communication and Trello for project management. This is a short time framed project that is just supposed to be a little bit of team building within Devils Inc Studios as well as something for us to say that's what we can do now go have fun playing with it.

So while this project borders on Copyright Infringement (I already have a plan that would if needed eliminate that issue. For one the license I think is now held by Disney and created by a defunct studio (LucasArts was shut-down in 2013) So I'm aware of all that and I'll go the "spiritual" route if needed. Though as of right now no plans are in place beyond the initial prototype.

This was one of best games I ever played on SNES. I always wanted to remake this game.

I personally dont like realistic art style approach. I think that some kind of comical cartoon like style would make it a lot more fun.
