Would it be possible to mod this game? Thread

There is a game called My Sims (not to be confused with The Sims) that is from 2008 for PC. It is a simulation game, a bit similar to Animal Crossing. The game itself seems that it was made for a younger audience, but I've been wondering if it would be possible to mod the game to make it more... interesting, such as changing textures or music.
I did do some research, and I found out that you could use a program called s3pe (a package editor made for The Sims 3) to view some of the texture files. However, I'm not sure how to go about changing them.
I'm not that experienced with modding, so I was just wondering if someone could maybe give me some tips on how, or even if it would be possible to mod the game? Thank you.

It does not appear to use the same engine, and considering it's a port of a Wii game, it's unlikely to be easily moddable.
