Which Game should I get??? Thread

Okay, I narrowed it down to 2 games that I want to get, should I get
A) BattleField 1942
or
B) Unreal Tournement 2004

I want Battlefield 1942 for its vechiles, maps, and Fun Gameplay.
I want Unreal Tournement for its Amazing Maps, teamplay & Addictive Multiplayer.

Which game should I buy???

BF1942

and get the mod desert combat, you will love it, flying helecopters along huge maps, and KICKEN ASS IN TANKS, VROOOOOOOOM

ut2k4 should have everything bf1942 has vehicle wise, along with everything ut2k3 had gun-battle wise

well BF1942 would have alot more stuff to mess around with if you are looking for variety but UT2k3 has teh uber 1337 graphics if you want a perfect looking game... its really your personal opinion, i would go with BF1942.

Make sure you have a 1337 net connection with BF1942, otherwise you'll get all lagged up.

No, if your going to be playing with 64 players (BF1942) compared to an average of 16 (UT2k3/4), I think Battlefield needs the better connection. I could play on a 16 player UT1 server with my old 56k.

However UT2k3 is only 20 bucks now

Here is a thought, you could buy Ut2k3 now, and you get a 10 dollar rebate on 2004. If it were me though, I'd still wait.

ok from an experienced gamer i would suggest u get unreal becuz bf1942 is choppy for almost all comps (i hate choppy shit) but unreal isnt choppy at all well atleast for me....

Yeah, it is possible to play with 64 players on BF1942, but i don't understand how anyone could play like that without an uber-1mb/s conection. It's so horribly laggy. Unless it was at some big lan event or something.

It's still fun with up to 36 people though.

BF1942 is excellent for lan parties, never played it online though :/

UT2k4 I hate bf1942 doesnt work right on my pc even though me requirements are better than them, I just don't think it likes Athon Xp processors becuz it worked on an old thunderbird...

thats what i hate about some games they put fake system requirements or below than what they should really be, like dungeon siege my comp is far away of the system requirements(in a good way) but it still runs like crap :/

not fake, its your graphics card man. geforce4mx is a piece of shit, 420 or 440 it really sucks, its a strip down 64 mb card its not just the power of your pc... I hink its bullshit that it doesn't work right on my athlon I spent 90$ on that shit, and then everyime I play it lags, or shuts down my pc when Im in the midd;le of a f*cking game...
