Which game engine to use for my 2D Zelda-Style game? Thread

I looks those games. Which engine should I use. Going to publish on IOS, Android, 3DS and Vita. Should be good for handheld/Mobile devices. Is Unity good 2D?

Look at the engine grit Gritengine.com it can do 2d, and if u work with development team they can help u get working for iPhone , Android, 3ds and possibly Vita. You don't have pay for it if you want to use it or even sell your game unlike unity if u use the free version can't see your game and unity not open source
