Where to start with coding??? Thread

Yo,
i was wondering i could start to learn how to code games, are there some super basic tutorials on how to set up the software i need. Do i use Microsoft Visual .Net 2003 or what cause i can't understand all the different parts. Could someone please explain.

Learning visual is not a good idea. Most mods are coded in c++. You should Google tutorials for C++, there's a ton of them.
