Where is Dwarf Fortress?? Thread

Look, I know it's old and updates come out very slowly (seeing as it's barely a 2-person team), but seriously, IndieDB, where is the Dwarf Fortress page?? This is like the definition of an indie game and it gets no love on this site! Surely the 2010 update has had some people revisiting it!

Dwarf Fortress is a great Indy game, the issue is that it is hardly close to being complete. There are a lot of issues with it still, and it is hardly finished enough to gain enough popularity to be voted high enough.

I think once Adventure mode and Fortress mode start becoming a single game, we will start to see it being talked about much more than it is now.

If the DF team want to have an IndieDB they set one up themselves - the staff here authorise and verify content, but they don't add it themselves. If it's important to you, maybe you could add it yourself? Ideally the DF team should do it, but if they're too busy there's nothing stopping you from doing it.

Indeed, we are a community run site - we are willing to help out teams when they ask for it, but I highly encourage you to get the Dwarf Fortress team to add their game or do so on their behalf.
