Ok, for those of you who are Scientifically inclined, here is a topic for you.
Carl Anderson, and American Physicist, thought up the theory for positrons,
an electron from a different dimension, a positive electron. And the theory that when parrallel worlds collide and stuff, all matter is destroyed, so if a positron were to be reversed into our current dimension...we'd all be completely be thrown in a molucular state. Post your adition research, comments, and thoughts or this stuff.

or something like that

I don't know how to get into this discussion... :O

Not that I'm against it, but it's hard to just break out into a rant about it.

I know, you have to be like a physicist or know alot of stuff like me

I know a lot of stuff, but how do I know if it's like you?

right. I know a lotta stuff too.

i thought positrons were just particles that had the same mass as electrons, but had a charge directly opposite in charge...i was unware that they didnt exsist.. (i believe that they are given off during nuclear reactions, but dont quote me on that)

well I did famer boy, They do not exist in our current dimension, in our so called
'mirror dimension', where its a parrallel world. they do exist, and everything would be somewhat reversed. weird.

All I know is that the end of the world wont come I'll like I am 90 (least I think). So my life would have lived by then. Still though...thats kind of creapy. :S

ya, if you woke up and some crazy scientist reversed the charges of an electron and all matter kinda just difused and muluculated.

5 billino years from now it will turn into a super nova and consume our small universe

solar system*

and i doubt our sun would turn into a super nova... or at least 5 billion years from now it wouldnt, just a normal nova. a supernova is when a start prematurely ruptures, and creates a much larger explosion that usual.

Doesnt really matter if someone did that, you'd be dead before you could figure out what was going on. Atleast dying quickly isnt painful.

Why wont it save me?

Mar 14 2003 Anchor

yes, i dont think being de-particalized at the speed of light is that bad.

fine then...

wasnt there an experiment performed, where they took a photographic sheet, and put an incredibly small hole in a piece of lead and sent photons through one at a time, and the piece of photographic sheet was developed almost as if the full light source had hit it, instead of the incredibly small amount of light? i think they decided that it was virtual particles that were popping in and out from other multiverses that caused it... not sure, anyone else read this? i think it was in some scientific magazine, but i dont remember where

it was done with photons, i belive... havent heard anything that was done with protons... i would assume that they would just strip the electrons off of a hydrogen atom using a particle accelerator or somethin
