wc3 heros on HL Thread

This mod will be based on the warcraft 3 heroes. You will be able to control the heroes out of the 4 races. Every Race has 3 heroes. Each hero will have 4 different Magic Attacks + 1 basic Melee/Ranged attack. Every attack will use a different amount of Mana, but the basic Melee/Ranged attack will use no/little Mana.

The game will be played in 3rd person view. Maps will be based on wc3 but will have difference. Each hero will start at level 1. Each time they kill someone, their EXP points will increase. When the EXP reaches a certain number, they will level up, thus increasing HP, Mana, Speed and strength. Depending on each Hero, level ups will give different heroes different new abilites. For example, When Kel'Thazard reaches level 5, he is able to fly, giving him an advantage to melee type heroes. Although, if he flies, he will lose mana for it.

why not just mod wc3 and get the same effect with half the work ? just look at dota or areon, same basic idea.

There's also an FPS mod for WC3 that will let you get the same effect.

i have a WC based mod on hl2.
