War! Thread

Hello, It's JEDIKNIGHT32 (Again) back with another Mod Idea (Also Again). This Mod is Based on the United States military, British Military, Australien Military, and Chinese Military. I've been thinking alot about it ever since that whole Tribute the U.S Army thing and I say that whynot make a Tribute to many of the Country's in the war. Here's a list of things to be implmented into the game:

Soldiers: The Battle Hardended and some unexperianced Soilders who give there lives for what they Believe in. Many of these many are battle wravged and in shock of all the budies they've lost.

Civilians: The few people remaining alive in a war torn country of Somilia. Some carry Weapons and others don't. They struggle to survive.

Resistance: The few Civilians that survived and a few old Military hero's banded together to fight the Somilian Military Front (SMF) Forces and help the country's that are tring to kill the leader of the SMF. They carry many weapons.

Somilian Military Front: The Enemy of the people and the terrorist's that tried to kill many Americans and there Allies. The SMF are under the leader ship uf Umov Krendowski. Krndoski has murdered thousends ofhis people and is tring to takeover the world.

Pilots: The Pilots that Pilot the military Jets and keep them working. There armed with standard Military Pistols.

Marines: The Marines are tuff SOB's that try to stop the SMF just as much as the rest of there Militarys do. The Marines carry there standard Rifle's and Pistols.

Navy: The people who drive the boats, do attacks on land by boat, and are the hart of the Military Supplies that go into Somilia.

Vehicles: Hummers, Jets, Tanks, APC's, Helicopters, Ships, Assuallt Boats, Supply Trucks, Troop Transports, Also, other Vehicles I can't remember.

Gameplay: Fast, intense action that may have you on the edge of your seats.

You choose: You get to choose whether you want to be American, British, Australien, or Chinese. This will be mostly Mulity Player. There will be NPC's though.

Ranking: You will go up in rank each time you do something heroic or you help your budies out of tight spots and complete objectives that are almost impossible to complete. You are assigned to a Platton of soldiers after you choose what Country and Branch of Military you're going to be in.

Game Egine: I'm not sure what Egine we should use for this so if you guys have any idea on what I should use than please tell me. Thank you.

I don't understand what many of the implementations are supposed to actually be once in the game.

Also, you never really described how this is a 'tribute'. All you've shown is just another military game with a bunch of different countries.

I'll reply but you won't like it, here's my take on what you really seem to be saying.

"Gameplay: Fast, intense action that may have you on the edge of your seats."

Has anyone ever advertised their mod as having "slow, boring gameplay that sends you to sleep".

"soldiers: these are a cliche'd bunch of vets, you know them, chain smoking loud mouthed stereotyped in such movies as..."

"civvies: let's irritate you by littering levels with random people who walk about and might shoot you sometimes"

"resistance: well you can't have an army without having a resistance!"

"SMF: Enemy of the people, yeah I'm sure they see themselves that way. p.s. Terrorists is plural so no apostrophe, and it's "their" not "there". Despite being an "enemy of the people" and having murdered thousands, the SMF seem somehow to still recruit people and get funding despite being universall loathed?

Pilots: let's put in a combat class inferior to others, because that's just oozes fun.

Marines: let's put in a class that everyone in their right mind would play so no effort needs to actually be put in developing the others anyway

Navy: Oh, don't forget them, they do a vital role. Oh yweah, but they're boring as fuck to play in an FPS, but no, let's have them anyway.

Vehicles: what mod would be complete without oodles of vehicles, the more the merrier, heck, let's put in *so many* that anyone not in one would actually feel useless, so every spawn becomes a wait til the next vehicle pops up.

You choose: between a random assortment of teams with minor differences!

Ranking: Get ranks for stealing your teammates' kills, get ranks for just doing well anyway since the objectives are nearly impossible anyway why bother trying when you can just kill people!

Game engine: despite BF2 screaming out as an obvious choice we haven't actually put in the research to decide which engine to use.

Hey! It will be good to play. Although some of that is true I will admit. Well, anyway go to go.

Oh and the tribute would be something you have to find out in the game.

Accually I'm just goingto stick with my current Mod.

Next, can you please not change someone else's idea around enough and make it look like your own. Let the other guy (who's name fails me at the moment, I apologise) try and do this first. It was originally his idea. If you really wish to do this I suggest joining up with the creator of the original idea.
