Vox crashes when creating a game world Thread

So just bought Vox from Desura and couldn't even download it for atleast a day because I kept getting the download mirror not available error.. but anyway.. to add insult to injury the game doesn't even work.

I was surprised to find that I apparently already have a level 11 warrior character with my first name (what the hell..?) So went ahead and played that but when creating game world it loads about 70% and crashes with a visual studio 2010 error.

Yes, yes.. I have all the MS VS packages installed and upto date.
