Hi

I have been trying to add new videos to my game section, i follow the steps (which i have done many times before and it worked) It uploads the vid taking about 10 mins then when i publish the post the video says its 0.00mins long and when you click play it keeps saying video not found.

Am i doing something wrong.

The file is a WMV same as all my other videos.

Thanks

OK it is missing. Odd. Can you elaborate on how you uploaded this and are you willing to re-upload it manually?

I have already re uploaded it several times. I upload it the same way i upload all the other vids. I go to my game, go to video's, select add media, Upload the video as prompted. wait a while for it to tell me its done, then i save the page and its missing...

As you can see its on youtube and several other sites. Anything i can do to fix it?

Try a different browser? What are you using right now?

im using chrome, i can try using Explorer but i hate it and always seems to crash.

I uploaded the video using explorer and it worked, its now visible but only with explorer and not google chrome, Is there anything that can be done to fix this as im sure most people dont use explorer anymore.

Thanks

Go to keepvid.com > Enter URL > Update Java if required > Download as MP4 > Upload on here from PC.

Maybe the problem is with it being a WMV. No idea but the above steps worked for my videos.

I just re read what you said, and this time i realised what you meant, I followed your steps and its all working now, i think you must be right that the WMV was rubbish and site didnt like it. plus MP4 is about a fifth of the size.

Thanks.
