UT2k3 Question Thread

Okay I just got it the other day and I installed it and it runs, but its very choppy and often laggy... and this is on single player so what would help this like a new video card or something? or is it my memory? I dunno me so confused

Make sure no background tasks are running, and maybe lower your reselotion, and the game res

yeah my computer is always low on virtual memory because whereas when other people open up taskmanager they have like 4 processes I have like 78 that I didnt even know about :/ my computer is kinda screwy because of Nortons... it just deletes infected files...

i have loads when igoto task manager

to only have 4 is wierd

yeah my granparent have only like 4 running at a time and they have dsl so their ping when I play mods over there is like 12... its nuts man.

having only 4 tasks open seems nuts

I have 44 running right now

I hace 41 tasks open, i reckon about 30 is normal

probably well Nortons & msn mssgr is on the tray and nortons has like 6 programs inside of it.

man, this is confusing

yeah its kind of a spam fest right now... this always seems to happen when me and cHIs are around

66 tasks open, thats with aol, opera, aim,winamp open too...

try closing some preoccesors, or turn down the quality.

maybe you could try using a videocard tweak program.

I recommend buying a new computer its always the right solution to all computer problems.
