well, it really does depend on what u like to do

i could prob learn how to code easier, just becuase i have a good memory from remembering trivial bits of information such as the code commands, but i am not graphically inclined, so i would not be very good at skinning and modeling and stuff... its seems to be that modelling or skinning is the easiest, but if you want to become very highly sought after in the mod area, learn how to code, and learn it well

Ok first things first:

Modelling and Skinning has nothing to do with UT2003.
Then:
Im very experienced with UnrealEd (mapping), I'd say Mapping is the easiest, but then again, I never coded, so I cant tell. But then again, I knew modelling before starting with UED3 (which requires you to know modelling+skinning, or you'll need world modellers).

Other things I can tell you:

Mapping -> Art/Architechture/Visual
Coding -> Logical + Maths + Writing

So if you're more of the visual guy, go for Mapping. And if you're more of a writing/reading guy, I'd say go for coding.

yeah i would agree with what he said, although the UnrealEd interface can look a bit overwhelming to me. Only anoying part of modeling is getting the stupid actor x plugin to work properly.

no, thats quite easy for me, the main pain in my fucking ass thing would be trying to keep the bones and player models lined up.
