uploaded vids not working Thread

not trying to plug or anything, but the vids here- Moddb.com - do not play. i know they need pre-processing time before they're up, but they were uploaded about 24 hours ago and they have vid thumbnails on the little film real above. not sure whats up, and this looked like the closest thing to a suport forum so i was hoping to get some help with this. thanks in advanced.

ok if your using the new windows codecs we dont support that atm.

i still using xp, nothing new windows like here. used xvid mpeg-4 codec when converting them with rad video tools. there just simple avi files. i can see all the other vids on other pages. the fact that they made thumbnails tells me they worked at some level.

the problem is your videos are not being converted into flv's so the problem lies with the codec you chose. If you can use h.264 and a acc for audio.

thought i would post a follow up, tracked the problem down to unsupported characters. had a + in the vid file names. problem solved thankfully

should be fixed now
