Hello, my name is Mik and I'm the creator and developer of Undecima – a new online browser multiplayer strategy game. After 6 years of intensive development and sleepless nights, I have finally finished my one-man project and it's up and running now. Undecima is in Open Beta at the moment and I welcome everybody to come, try it, and share your opinion and thoughts :)

A bit about the game:

The world of Undecima was shattered due to a terrible cataclysm into eleven planes thrown apart into a void and faintly connected by the same arcane magic that tore it apart. Now it lies in ruins and ruled by a cruel and merciless wizard, who has in his possession the Crown of Ultimate Power – the great artifact that can give supremacy to anyone who holds it. Now it can be up to you to claim the Crown of Ultimate Power and use it again for Good. Whether it’s the steel of Might, the power of Magic, the spirit of Nature, or the light of Faith, you shall face your enemies with courage and honour and prove yourself as a True Ruler of the World of Undecima.

You start with a small neutral village, develop it, select and research a town class for your town, train your troops, advanced through the levels, conquer a super-artifact, hold it for three days and claim yourself as a winner... The main concept that sets this game apart from other similar games is the fairness of the game play, you can read more about the game in this article on hubpages.

Some other interesting features of the game are:

- Simple but efficient combat mode (e.g. you can scout, attack, defend, counter-attack, intercept, and dodge enemies and reinforce your allies).

- Lack of tedious macro-management. You have plenty of upgrades and researches to do, but can control only one town.

- All units from very basic to elite have a set of abilities and skills that makes them unique in the game and useful in different situations.

- Four Town Classes to select (Might, Magic, Nature, and Faith) with unique buildings, upgrades, researches, units, and commanders.

- Ability to play either PvP or PvE or mix it at the same time. For example theoretically, you can finish the game without attacking another player (not sure if it's going to be fun though).

- Plenty of rewards, such as weekly ranking, overall ranks, medals, personal achievements and more.

- The game is addictive, but doesn't take up all of your time (here I'm not sure whether it's a good point or bad).

The game is written in C# (ASP.NET) with the use of JavsScript (if somebody is interested).

Here is the Undecima Trailer.

Or you can watch videos to check the gameplay on Undecima Video Channel

Here you can find Undecima Image Gallery.

Will be happy to hear your feedback and answer any questions here or on Undecima Forum.

And remember - Undecima Wants You! :D

On the other note... It's cool, it's not very shiny, and it is true iron - the Medal of Iron Will has been implemented and awarded to one of the Undecima veteran players. If you tried Undecima before, it might be your chance to get this unique medal next week ;). You can see the Medal itself and find more about it in this thread.

I have just registered myself and tried the first things at workplace, in spare time without damaging my productivity (note for my boss).

It looks quite fluent, I like the time handling that you put in it.

But most of all I like the arts, it is simply beautiful, you made an excelent job Mik. Congratuations!

Nov 16 2015 Anchor

Thank you :) Always nice to hear that somebody likes my drawings :) Hope you are still enjoying the game.

A few more completed and upcoming updates :)

All three new updates for Farm Hands, Tax Collectors, and Tradesmen have been implemented now and they are waiting for you to hire them. You can find more about how it all works in this thread.

Feb 9 2016 Anchor

Any new updates?

Feb 9 2016 Anchor

Sure :D

It's been a while and there were a few interesting changes in the Game. Now you (as a player and the ruler of your Town) can roll up your sleeves and engage in your Town activities, helping your workers to complete ongoing tasks, train more troops, or do some farming or trading to produce a bit of an extra Gold or Food. You can find more about it in this thread.

There is also a new Tutorial with Step-by-Step Instructions that covers all new and old main concepts of the Game. You can find more about it in this thread.

A new Undecima Video Tutorial is now available on YouTube. This video covers all new and old concepts of the Game and walks you through the whole Tutorial with explanations and commentaries from the very beginning to the point where you research a Town Class.

There are Time Markers in the description of this video for each step now. So, if you get stuck on a particular step, you don't have watch the whole video (even though it's a nice video), but just directly jump to the place where you got stuck.

There will be another Video Tutorial soon, much shorter, with minimum explanations and no commentaries - just completing the Tutorial as fast as possible - for those who doesn't have much time ;)

And if you get curious, here is a link to the game: Undecima Wants You! :D

Mar 29 2016 Anchor

Yep, a shorter video will be very nice to have ;) Keep up good work! :)

Mar 29 2016 Anchor

Will be coming next ;)

Was busy with these updates:

The Call of Ragnarok is a new feature in Undecima that will allow all (or almost all) active players to take part in the Endgame. It's risky and there is no way back, but if you don't want to miss on the Grand Finale, you can take this opportunity, accept the Call and maybe even win the Game. Read more about it in this thread.

Another new feature is Voting for Undecima. It has been integrated into the Game and now if you enjoy playing Undecima, you can vote for it right from the Game and you will be rewarded some Coins of the Chronos for your effort as well. Read more about this feature in this thread.

And if you get curious, here is a link to the game: Undecima Wants You! :D

I've not played yet, but it looks pretty well done. It also looks a lot like Travian... what are the differences?

Much deeper, more options, quite different gameplay. Try it - you'll see a difference pretty soon ;)

And now time for an update :)

Undecima has been running in open Beta for almost a year now and to keep it running, it needs your support. It is currently on Kickstarter (a crowd-founding website) and you can see it there by following this link. The Rewards for support include Premium Account and some cool (and even very cool) In-Game extras. You can check as well all upcoming Updates that are scheduled for future development. Big or small - every dollar counts ;) You can find more details and updates about this project in this thread.

And that's the link to the game, if you're not sure what Undecima is: Undecima Wants You! :D
