i was just wondering about this the other day... for those of you that dont know, and unabridged dictionary had EVERY word in it...

now, the english dictionary is HUGE... Amazon.com just look at the dimensions on that one!! its 22k pages, and weighs at least 150 pounds, if not more. the dictionary comes with a magnifying glass so that you can actually read it, the font is so small.

now, i was wonder, how large are other languages dictionaries? do other languages have such mammoth lexicons as the english language does?

I just have a big fellow in my room that solves all my dictioning needs. It's Random House, hardcover, about a foot, by a foot and a half and has 2500 pages. It only weighs 10 pounds so you can still carry it around :P

I RESENT THAT VITRIOTICLY!!! :/

(Big word humor, u need a big vocabulary to get it :P)

One of my favorite words is "Obsequious" which means "Kindly, politely"

So freak out your english teacher/parents/gf tommorrow and say, "I tried to tell him as obsequiously as possible but he would not stop yelling!"
