UAC Marine tour-of-duty mod idea for D3 Thread

I was talking about this idea with Limey last night on the IRC. Essentially, this mod is a single-player only campaign based around the Marines you play as in Doom 3. You begin in the lobby of a Marine recruitment center, and proceed to enlist in the Marine Corps. While signing up, you have the choice of altering certain attributes about your character, ie. name, gender, appearance. You next are assigned to a squad, and with your squad you proceed on a standard Marine tour of duty, following a set of different missions. Along the way, you retain the same squad, and if a member dies he or she is replaced with a new inexperienced member. Missions range from putting out a revolt at a small UAC colony, to boarding a hijacked commercial ship or exterminating indigenous beings on planets to make way for colonists. Limey was fairly excited, and so was I. I'll post some more later.
