Trigun mod Thread

Now granted Im not a big fan of anime, but this Trigun show kicks ass and would easily make a mod.

Trigun? what the hell is that? Maybe britain havent got it yet or its becuase i dont watch anime shows.

Trigun is great!

But I doubt it would do well as a game, unless you used a different character because it would be hard to make a game where you can't kill anyone.

calvin has a point there, the game play would just be weird...

if you wanted to do it from someone elses point of view, you could just call the mod "Planet Gunsmoke" incase you cant get permission to use trigun

Well, I mean you sould go through the story line as Vash and just fight the bad guys like he does in the show. Like on that ship, and that guy with the guns on his arms etc. Plus it could have the level where everyones trying to kill him. Instead of killing people, you could "injure" them until they cant follow you. But from the view of another character, that would be interesting. Any suggestions of an alternate character?

Make one up. Make up story of your own that goes in the trigun universe. In those times, there's bounty hunters, there's gangs, and there isn't much law. It's like the west all over again so you really could make up your own story.

Something like, you chose to be a bounty hunter or an outlaw, and the idea is to see how much money you can rack up. If your a bounty hunter you try and bag the bounties, if they're dead or alive, or only alive. If your an outlaw you have to get away with crimes and get the bounty on your head increased. There's 2 types of money counters the first is money you have to spend. The second changes per hunter or outlaw, and that would be money on your head, and the money collected from bounties. There would need to be another way bounty hunters can get money since outlaws can steal (to balance the game).

As a bounty hunter you can have several allies and try and stop outlaws from escaping a place they robbed, or catching them.

This could probably be an interesting online game.

or make it a wide open game ala freelancer
