The Great Elder God Cthulhu Thread

any one out there know who Cthulhu is

its a satanic god, i remember reading a vampire book that was talking about him, and some insane cult that wanted to summon him. i think it was trying to make him into some form of alien almost... and i think he was also around on earth supposedly early on, and enslaved most of the population...not sure how accurate a representation of him that is, but thats what i can remember

There's a new game coming called Call of Cthulu and it looks pretty nice... The screenshots haven't showed any beasties yet though, just people and revolvers

No, PF he's not one of the high lords of hell. The 3 high lords of hell are Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal.

No. Osiris was a 'real' egyptian god, I'm talking about the lovecraftian stuff. I think it was some kind of eagle-mama or something. Might've been Nosferatu, but I think it was something starting with an 'H'.

for true H.P lovecraft fans, Cthulhu is a huge beast with a squid head and bat wings that is currently sleeping in the sunked city of ry'la, I'm kind of a geek when it comes to Horror

ahh Seth! I know him, the evil Egyptian god or something, cut his brother up into tinny peaces then sent them down the nali in little boxes. ya, he's pretty hardcore. But he's nothing compared to the beast that is Cthulhu. If Cthulhu ever woke up, it would be the end of the world, as we know it!

whos H.P lovecraft? Ive heard of that somewhere, but i cant be sure.

H.P Lovecraft was a Horror writer in the early 1900's, and from what I've read of him a damn good one. His stories are amaziling written and have a great creepy atmosphere.

i don't know much, but i want to make a mod about monster and gods, but that's all invented by me, the world, the spells and the races are the standard fantasy races modified by me too.

btw i love dragons

a lot of monsters talked about today are labeled as "lovecraftian" referring to lovecraft's stories...

oh yeah, and i think the cthulhu is actually the servant of some other god, damn i need to find that book, ill post the title and author here once i find it...
