Hey we are posting to IndieDB, because we are the small danish indie game company Portaplay, who have just released an indie sci-fi tactics game that we think might fit your interest. In the game you control the marine crew of a WW1 submarine caught in outer space! Missions are centered on squad based combat tactics on asteroids and features a quirky B-movie style story inspired by the pulp sci-fi adventures of the early 20th century. We have implemented several novel gameplay innovations i.e. path drawing movement, low-g physics based combat, and a lot of interesting loot, funky weaponry and equipment. You can find our trailer here: The game is available on steam here: Thanks, and have a lovely day! Jakob & Hans from Portaplay And some review are in, so dont take our word on it alone, others are also finding the game to worth trying Steamgames.ro "The world is masterfully created and the atmosphere, costumes, sound effects specific to 20s are very well made. The story is conceived and illustrated in the style of novels or science fiction novels written by Asimov or those written by Lovecraft horror."or"Tales from the Void is a surprisingly good game with a great atmosphere, a well structured story and unique gameplay, addictive and well implemented, but a little short. The game is available on Steam at a price of € 14.99, which is excellent price / quality ratio is one of the top. I recommend you try." "Overall Tales from the Void is an extremely pleasant game which I feel that has gone under the radar for a lot of people. The weird setting, the slow but yet intense combat, the captain dialogue sections, the resource management aspect and the marine customization, all these elements combined together make for quite the experience and make this a title I consider worthy of checking out."
"not only is the gameplay itself fun, but it’s a goofy-cool concept of the likes no one else is rolling with" Edited by: Portaplay |
