The events in the game are events that parallel a character traveling around various punk scenes in Cincy OH, and Lexington, KY. The chain of events I think makes for an interesting story and I've wanted to make a cyberpunk based game for a long time. If you want in on this and want to hear my ideas and such let me know.

Maybe it would be good if you would add a little more info than this. I'm generally always interested to hear people's ideas, but with that little information I don't even really know what this is about. :)

Ah! Glad you replied because I was going to start posting bits from the script.
Now in parts this is going to sound really wonky and cheesy because I'm making up names as I go as rapid placeholders for the final product. So I use a LOT of generics for the sake of creating a skeleton to work with. But it's a few paragraphs and there is a lot of depth in there if you'll stick through to the end. All the parts of a story are there, and there's a beginning, middle, end, with a protagonist, conflict, resolution, sorrow, regret, despair, hope, courage, and a whole array of human emotion thrown in.
The events are based on a true story, with names changed to protect everyone's identity, and to map everything to a cyberpunk setting.

Protagonist Cyphercat arrives on the tram on his way to Metropolis, one of the last and largest cities on Earth. He stops in Los Lostos and receives a communication from his sister Sarah talking about how he didn't have to run away from home, and how his friends would have understood and worked everything out. Regardless, Cyphercat is interested in starting over and pursuing a life working with revolutionary groups in Metropolis and running from his past as part of a revolutionary underground hacking group in his home. He comes from a well to do upbringing and imagines himself able to withstand the dangers of a more exciting life in Metropolis.
In Los Lostos he meets a man at the tram station named Neored who sort of sidetracks Cyphercat by telling him about groups working in Los Lostos, and how he might be able to sharpen his skills and gain experience working with those groups now instead of heading to Metropolis. Los Lostos is based on Cincy, Ohio and has a glamorous appeal based on when the character suddenly encounters New Vegas in Fallout.
Cyphercat takes the bait and is drawn into an adventure which takes him through the streets of Los Lostos engaging in central gameplay and completing story and secondary missions. He encounters an array of characters based on people I met in my time in Cincy. Choices and consequences are made which shape the character and move the story, with a variety of different outcomes available to the player.
The antagonists of the story, a gang called the Dexheads, become involved with Cyphercat, and the main enemies of the story are introduced who become the driving force behind the character's development and progression, beside his desire to make it to Metropolis.
He narrowly escapes capture by the Dexheads and proceeds to the city of Lexitopia, based on Lexington, KY. There the story reaches its climax and ending as Cyphercat faces his final encounters with the Dexheads and the game ends with a sudden twist that leads to a payload of hope and satisfaction regarding Cyphercat and his fate in the world.
That's about all for now.
As the game sits in my mod, it would be best as a Deus Ex mod as is uses the game mechanics of skill gain, hacking, electronics, and the array of melee and firearm based combat. But it could take off as its own game. It relies heavily on a drug use mechanic, my own touch based on real life experience and the desire to do something artistic for my own satisfaction, so it's not for kids.

Hope that satisfies you and anyone else who reads this. Thanks for your time!
