The game that was released start's off with a AMAZING cinematic I mean you could definitely see all the potential that could be put into this game but all it did was set an unrealistic standard of the game in everyone's mind. When you start the game you have to choose a class and all this sh*t just like in the game world of warcraft, this game has been a complete copy of WoW just re-skinned with different voices. The controls were bad too, you have to right click on the enemy you want to kill? NO WAY DUDE! This is star wars! The potential in making a video game about it is flowing with good concepts and idea's that you could make really well done games but really, you had to choose MMORPG!? Ugh, that just really bothered me. The last thing i found repulsive is that the ingame animating was so far off from realism that made the game look very unprofessional and rushed. This game was like a 2/10 for me, the two are just for the cinematic. |

I'm actually enjoying it myself, but then anything Star Wars related is instantly a hit for me... |

Yea but the thing is that the series has so much potential and you don`t really see it in the game. |

As someone who loves the KotOR games, I'm interested in trying it out. I've heard good things about the campaign, but it's EA, so I'm expecting a lot of paywalls. |

If I'm not terribly mistaken it's free to play up to a certain level now, isn't it? |

It's free to play only in the most basic sense. Free players are treated like second class citizens - They can only choose from one or two of like ten alien races., gain experience at a painfully slow rate, and generally find themselves restricted all the time. In short - you wont find free to play much fun unless you drop 60 some bucks on the in-game currencey to unlock the basic niceties you'd expect in an MMO. It's not a terrible MMO, but it's also not very good. The biggest gripe I have with it is how badly the "free to play" model is implemented. You're better off with Lord of the rings online if F2P is your bag. |

Ah, that is a shame. I feel bad for Bioware; this had the potential to be pretty awesome. It's the largest undertaking of fully voice acted lines in a game, so if anything it's a nice historical win... Doesn't at all cover for bad gameplay though. Oh well. |

I played at launch, and for a couple months, but lost interest after that. It's funny, I used to think MMO's would be more interesting if they had more story, and SWTOR definitely had more story, and it was enjoyable enough, but it didn't make the game more interesting. I'm convinced now that open-world sandbox is the way to go. All the instanced PvP and theme park stuff kinda seems like a waste of a virtual world containing thousands of players. |

i thought the game was to nagging on the controls and the lag was terrible for me. the game graphics looked like they could be better. |
