Star Wars Space TacSim Thread

Hey guys! Im pretty new to the forum but i have been formulating an idea for a game since i was introduced to Star Wars Battlefront 2. I was entranced by the space battles that it created but i always thought it lacked depth. Therefore, i thought of creating a game that further expanded space battles. It would include certain elements from FTL in terms of spaceships, and also have classes that you would select. I want to start small to see if this idea is something that people would enjoy, so i was thinking of modding a game such as guns of icarus or other games similar to have a good base. It would not be for the standard CoD of BF player because it would require strategies and a general behavior that has a lower percentage of trolls, as one weakness i can see to this game is the community being a hindrance to it. To protect privacy i wont delve into too many details but i would love feedback on this idea, as it has been one i have formulated for many years. Thank you all for your time!
