Shadow The Hedgehog Thread

Sonic Adventure was actually a great game. I got the Team Hero one and that sucked because it was too hard and i didnt like being 3 people at once. Hopefully this game will be as good as SA2 and play the same way....

Yeah, I know. I sort of felt it was silly with him running around with those guns. However, it adds an interesting new style of gameplay. Not to mention, if you look at the animations, they're distinctly different from Sonic's. The graphics also look slick and the gameplay has that nice coat of Sega's style.

I think this will be interesting to check in with later on down the line, while it is further into development. Gameplay ideas do get dropped along the way, after all. I'd feel more comfortable with energy beams coming out of Shadow's hands or something, rather than a gun.

Wait for more trailers. There's likely to be a whole lot more things thrown into the gameplay department, seeing as how that one was only a minute long (other half consisted only about Sonic himself).

And besides, it looks awesome

poor sonic team, this is the first anti-sonic game they've made since dr robotniks mean bean machine, aint it?

Um, it's just a trailer, and it wouldn't be ranked #1 on everyone's wish list if it was considered a bad game.

By the way, Sonic Team is allowed not to make Sonic games. They did make Chu Chu Rocket, after all.

They Have "Sonic Deathmatch" so it wouldn't suprise me if they made an RPG/MMO for it that would be the end of the series tho... Last I heard of Shadow he was cremated in the Earths atmosphere, but he was supposed to be in SA: 3. Should be interestin to see this. evil:

I loved sky diving and running up the pyrimid in multiplayer. I really hope the huge falls will be put into this.

LOL funny. They really shouldn't put a gun in the equation though, all sonic games have never ahd guns in and would just look wrong. I know this isn't strictly a 'sonic' game but still. I think the sonic team are running out of ideas, might look like a cool game but i won't be buying it.

I want a Sonic game like the first Sonic Adventure..
Sonic games are getting creppy with all the gameplay changes.

Then play Sonic Adventure 2. If you want games that hark back to the Genesis days, grab a GBA and play the awesome Sonic games on there. It's time to breathe new life into the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series, and this game may do that.

Mario adapted to the environments, so Sonic should as well.

gameplay changes are what makes stuff new and different

thats why the DS is great, it gives you a new way to play the game!
