As you all know, not all of us gamers are young people. As for myself,I'm a senior gamer in my 60's.While 99.999% of developers have been very nice and polite about questions, such as will there be a single layer version or a god mode. While I don't use god mode myself, but some of the older gamers I know use this because they think they need to.
This post is NOT to flame ANY developers, but rather to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you young and old alike for your efforts and successes in making your games that we all play.
This is also an encouragement for people who,no matter what your would like to develop games and to play them.
So,best of luck to ALL of you, whether you be a player or game maker no matter what your age. :D

Being an old fart,I ALMOST forgot to say another BIG THANKS to the staff that runs MODDB,Desura,Indie DB and other associated websites.Without people like you, gaming probably wouldn't be as much fun. 8)

Welcome to play my games if you haven't, grouchbag. They are puzzle focused so any age can play them.

You're welcome and thank you for being bloody awesome.

My grand parents just sit around watching TV thinking I'm addicted to video games and such.

Well thank you Cleril,I will.I haven't played any yet,but I will certainly look them up.I like just about any game that's good.I also keep an eye out for games other people in my apt building like.A lot of these people have their grandkids visit them as well.
I will also encourage you NOT to give up making games.Whenever I can,I try to encourage other young (and older) developers.I don't make game games myself,so I can't give any advice on that score. For the people who do need help,I leave that for the experts. There are plenty of good people here that are willing.
Well, sorry to be so long winded.I'm going to look for your game.Good luck on all your projects. And thanks again for your reply. :D

I'm not as old but I am confused. By "single layer version" do you mean parallax scrolling?

I can't wait to be old enough to justifiably yell at kids to get off my lawn and own a house.

Sorry about that.I meant SINGLE PLAYER.Not parallax scrolling.End of confusion.
And as for not as old? While I don't mind being older,my advice to you would be enjoy your life while you are young. And why would you want to yell at kids for being on your lawn when you're old enough?Put up a fence.
Anyway, there are gamers of every age.Good luck to you,and again sorry about my mistake.I never would have noticed otherwise. 8)

Been making games for seven years, being an indie is a possibility for my lifestyle. I've got two years left of college and plan to release commercial games in that time to see if it would work.

Otherwise I hope to work for Atlus, ThatGameCompany, Obsidian, etc.
