Hello People. I am a 22 year old ex Music Technology student who is seeking experience in game audio. I have never worked on a game before, and do not know how to go about implementing sounds into a game. However, I feel I could be useful by providing audio assets (foley and creature sounds, menu sounds etc) Basically I am just starting out in Game Audio and I am looking for my first bit of work experience with a Mod Team. My Website is www dot sassounddesign dot com This includes audio examples of my work, a blog about myself and a video of my sound design work. Please contact me if you need someone who can help out with creating sound assets for your Mod. Thanks, Simon |

Are you set with just menu and creature sounds, or can you do weapons, voice acting, music, ambiance, what else? A sound designer in the video game industry really only needs to know about file extensions and formats so you should be good. |

I can't do voice acting myself, as I hate the sound of my own voice... I sometimes write a bit of music, like the music on my website, but its fairly basic and I'm much more into sound design. I can record ambience, foley, menu sounds etc, but I have never recorded any weapon sounds. I suppose I could give it a go... I might be good at it for all I know. I could shape a kick drum sound into the sound of a bullet firing. Thanks for your reply www dot sassounddesign dot com/audio dot html theres an example of some gunshots i made. what do you think? are they realistic enough to be used in a game? |
